A message from Ashley Kirk, member of LBC

We would like to represent BSA Troop 15 in hosting a food and fund drive for the Leslie Beach Club and surrounding community. As you all know, the Coronavirus has had a huge impact on our community and Atlanta as a whole. The financial and health impact has left many in need of food, and the local Atlanta Community Food Bank is in great need of donations. As Scouts we would like to do our part in raising money and donations to help in time of great need.

How can you help?
1. Donate on line to this site.  All funds donated online go straight to the food bank.
2. Drop off donations at Leslie Beach.  We will be accepting monetary and food/paper good on the following dates:
   -Friday April 24, 5-7 pm
   -Saturday April 25, 12-2 pm

The following items are shelf stable and needed at the Food Bank:
-Canned fruit and vegetables, canned dried beans, lentils, shelf stable milk
-Canned tuna, chicken or salmon (in water), whole grain pasta or flour, olive or canola oil
-Brown rice, quinoa, natural peanut butter, diapers/toiletries
-Paper products

****NO Glass, Condiments, Pet Food, Nor Baby Food****

Please note that we will be maintaining social distancing with a table set up.  All donations can be dropped into well labeled bins. Every little bit of money can help, as just $1 can be turned into 4 meals.  We've seen our community come through in the past and we know it can make a great impact. We look forward to seeing you out there.
